Ethicronics was thrilled to welcome students at the University of Cambridge's Department of Computer Science and Technology.
A lecture by Dr. Franck Courbon, former Postdoc/Fellow at the CS Department (2015-2022) and current Lucy Cavendish By-Fellow, provided students with valuable insights into advancements in electronics hardware, focusing on security and hardware assurance. The talk resonated strongly with the attendees, sparking thoughtful discussions and ideas.

Why is hardware assurance critical?
Each year billions of chips power our cars, planes, phones and laptops. Hardware integrity is a critical but often overlooked cybersecurity element with industry wide implications. Consequences of hardware sabotage include: hardware failures, security breaches and supply chain disruption; Ethicronics software-based hardware assurance solution offers cost-saving for fabless companies segment agnostic and higher security.
