Ethicronics was thrilled to welcome students at the University of Cambridge's Department of Computer Science and Technology.
A lecture by Dr. Franck Courbon, former Postdoc/Fellow at the CS Department (2015-2022) and current Lucy Cavendish By-Fellow, provided students with valuable insights into advancements in electronics hardware, focusing on security and hardware assurance. The talk resonated strongly with the attendees, sparking thoughtful discussions and ideas.
Why is hardware assurance critical? Each year billions of chips power in cars, planes, phones and laptops. Fabless manufactures must verify each products matches its design file to ensure its security. Hardware integrity is a critical but often overlooked cybersecurity element with industry wide implications. Consequences of hardware sabotage include: hardware failures, security breaches and supply chain disruption; Ethicronics software-based hardware assurance solution offers not only cost-saving but even a lifesaving. |
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, contributed to the conversation, and made the event a success. Special thanks to the Cambridge Computer Laboratory for graciously hosting us!
🌍 Let’s keep driving innovation in the tech space while tackling real-world challenges. If you missed the talk but are interested in learning more about Ethicronics, feel free to reach out—we’d love to connect! |
